To download a trial:

When you see the box offering the option to 'Open' or 'Save' the file, select 'Save', and save to your desktop or your preferred location

If you did not select 'Close this dialog box when the download completes', you will have the option
to 'Open Folder', or 'Close once the download completes'. Select 'Open’ and the installation will begin:

If you selected 'Close this dialog box when the download completes', go to your desktop or the folder you selected, and find the file. The name is displayed in the 'Download manager' during the download. Double-click this file to start installation.

Follow the directions on the screen to install. When this is complete, you will short cut created on
your desktop, double-click icon to open it.

Unfortunately, currently we do not send trial CD of pass-test software. You can obtain a trial version of pass-test by downloading from the pass-test download page.

Yes. After selecting one option you can select more options by clicking the answer option text, which you want to select.

The test will show you a message that you need to unselect any of answers before selecting any more answers.

Yes. You can mark questions with a flag by clicking the ’Flag’ button to help you go back to them quickly. You can also go back to questions, which are un-attempted. You can go back to flagged questions by clicking on the 'Review' button at the bottom of the screen.
 There you have options of going back to flagged questions, un-attempted questions, or reviewing
 all questions.

You can see statistics of your performance by clicking 'Test Result's the main menu. This would be mainly helpful in practicing tests for the first time in preparation tests.

You can see the results by clicking on 'test results' menu. This displays the individual test results.
The tab is available where you can click on the 'Hazard perception test'. Here you can see the hazard perception test result.

We provide 15 days tryout period for pass-test. After installation, the first screen that appears upon launch will indicate the number of days remaining in your trial. The trial version’s counter begins on the first day of successful installation and launch of the trial software. When the trial has expired, you must purchase the software to continue using it.

When the trial period runs out you will not be able to install another copy of this trial onto the same computer to try the software again.

Click on the file to start the installation or if you are using CD, click on the setup.exe from the CD. Then follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
This software requires the appropriate .net framework. 
This gets installed automatically while application is getting installed. 
On the initial screen, you can see "Microsoft. netframework" option. Click on it to install it. 

Note - To install the software on Windows vista, please right click on the downloaded file and select 'Run as admin'.
Then follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

If you still face problem with software, you can access it from

i.e. Change the drive name - use the drive name where you have installed the software

Using the software for the first time - 
Start the program from the Start menu under All Programs; open 'Driving Theory Test'
Complete user registration (Optional)
You will be shown next main menu navigation screen.
While using for the first time, you need to create a new user by creating "Add use/Create learner driver account" option available on "Login" screen.
Enter any user name, password. (e.g. your name)
Then login using the same user name and password.
Then you can start solving the questions.

In case you have trial version of the software, you have to run the live updates to download the extra clips after upgrading it to full version.

If you have a CD of this software, you need to insert the CD every time you wish to use the software.

If you are using the windows vista then, you might get the pop up window as 'unauthorised'.
To install the software on Windows vista - you should have administrative privileges to access the software. OR you can right click icon on desktop and select "Run as administrator".

This software requires the appropriate .net framework. 
This gets installed automatically while application is getting installed. 
On the initial screen, you can see "Microsoft. netframework" option. Click on it to install it. 
You should not cancel this step otherwise software will not work properly. 

Please try to access the software from
C:\Program Files\Driving Theory Test
Click on "Setup.exe". (Folder where application is installed, change the path depending upon where you have installed the application on your computer)
Application should get launched.

Using the software for the first time - 

Start the program from the Start menu under All Programs; open 'Driving Theory Test'
Complete user registration (Optional)
You will be shown next main menu navigation screen.

While using software for the first time, you need to create a new user by creating "Add use/Create learner driver account" option available on "Login" screen.
Enter any user name, password. (e.g. your name)
Then login using the same user name and password.
This is created to save your exam progress under that user name.
This name could be anything, not necessary the user name/password of the website.
Then you can start solving the questions.

In case you forget the user name/password, you can create a new user by creating "Add use/Create learner driver account" option available on "Login" screen.
But in this case, you test result you solved earlier will not be shown to you.

Launch the software.
Please click on "Upgrade to professional" option available on main menu.
And fill in the details. If you already have registered, just click on "Pay now" button. You will be taken to website to make the payment.
