DSA is dedicated to influencing young people's attitudes towards learning to drive and passing the driving test. We visit and present totally free of charge to many organisations which include Schools and Colleges, Armed forces, Agricultural Colleges, Youth Football Teams, Probation Services and Young Offenders Units.
 
 

CIECA

CIECA (Commission Internationale des Examens de Conduite Automobile) was founded in 1956. CIECA is the international commission for driver testing authorities, active in the fields of road safety and driver testing. It is made up of driver testing authorities from across Western, Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.

 
 

Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a scheme designed to make newly qualified car drivers become better drivers. The course consists of six specially designed training sessions to follow on from a successful practical driving test. They enable the new driver to gain more experience in driving in town, out of town, in all weathers, at night, on dual carriageways and motorways.

Road code a highway code for younger road users has been written with the needs of young people in mind, and contains the latest and best guidance on cycling proficiency, the GREEN CROSS CODE and general "ROAD-CODE". What If?

What If? The Government's Road Safety Strategy recently charged the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with helping to reduce road casualties through a greater awareness of hazards. Specific age groups were targeted in the Strategy with young drivers cited as being at risk.
